How to send private message? Message stays in Outbox.

Hello friends.
I'm new to this forum but I'm a moderator on a swedish forum so I can read most of waht you write here and I'm impressed with many of your tanks that I've seen so far.
However, I'm in need to contact the admin of this forum, Brian, and I've written a private message but it just stays in the "Outbox" folder instead of beeing seen in the "Sent messages" folder.
Does anyone know how to help me?

ps: You can write your answer in english och danish.

It stays in the outbox folder until the recipent has opened the message. Then it's automatically moved to the sent messages.
